Anne-Francoise Weyns, our Chief Sloth, is a seasoned entrepreneur with a passion for creating innovative luxury chocolate products. Born in Belgium – the land of chocolate – she spent over two decades founding and managing Artisan du Chocolat, a pioneer brand in premium British chocolates before leaving for new chocolate ventures. Jeffey Higgins is the co-founder of Sloth & Spoon and the owner of the Wooden Spoon Preserving Company in Wye, Kent  – link to wooden spoon website. Jeff knows more than a thing or two about preserves from jams to chutney, from pickled vegetables to posh ketchup and has been supplying farm shops and delicatessen for decades. Jeff, our master stirrer who ensures that every spoonful of our spreads is made to perfection.

Most industrial spreads are produced using vegetable fat (including sometimes palm oil), sugar and powders.
